The use of high-quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. Using a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, very low manufacturing tolerances are achieved, which leads to convincing printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each coil is sealed in a high-quality bag.

- Made in Switzerland

- small diameter and roundness tolerances

- easy to print

In principle, HIPS behaves very similarly to ABS. This is because HIPS is made from the same base polymer as ABS.
HIPS is a very widespread plastic in various applications worldwide. HIPS is particularly popular in the packaging industry.
In the field of 3D printing, the material can be used directly as a construction material or as a support material. Finished parts can be ideally painted with acrylic paints, for example.
If HIPS is used as support material for overhangs, a second nozzle pack is required. After printing a combination of e.g. ABS and HIPS as support material or PLA and HIPS as support material, the unfinished construct can be placed in D-Limonene or Orange Terpetene solvent. After a few hours, all that is left is the finished part made of ABS, PLA or whatever. The HIPS filament dissolves without leaving any residue. We recommend using HIPS nature, otherwise paint residues may remain on the good part.
The solvents D-limonene and orange terpetene are only slightly harmful to the environment and are often used in light cleaners. This filament meets the compositional requirements of European Regulation No. 10/2011 on plastic materials intended for food contact.
